Accessibility Statement

We're building pizzaboro.ca toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA — the standard the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) points to for websites. We haven't yet had a full, independent accessibility audit, so we can't claim to have fully met it. What we can say honestly is what we've done and what we know is still missing.

• Built the site with real HTML structure — headings, buttons, and form labels a screen reader can make sense of, not just styled divs
• Made sure every page works with a keyboard, not just a mouse or touchscreen
• Written descriptive alt text for menu photos
• Kept text and background colours at a contrast we've checked by eye, though not yet formally measured against the WCAG contrast ratios

We haven't run a full audit, so there are almost certainly gaps we don't know about yet. If you hit one, we'd genuinely like to hear about it — see below.
